Tŷ'r Anwylyd is a nineteenth century, stone built, (end of) terraced cottage in the heart of Dolgellau, the county town of the old county of Merionethshire - now part of Gwynedd.
All the amenities of a small county town are within walking distance of the cottage, and the town enjoys a lively cultural life throughout the year. Two of the best restaurants in North Wales are within a two or three minute walk from the cottage, as are a full range of shops, pubs, and other attractions in the Town Centre, including Tŷ Siamas, the Welsh music and culture centre in Eldon Square. A Farmers' Market takes place at least once a month.
