Tŷ'r Anwylyd
is fully centrally heated throughout, with a coal-effect gas fire in the living room, and can accommodate five people comfortably - six at a pinch!
The lounge has a television and a DVD player, and a bookcase with a good selection of books, DVD's and games all of which our guests are welcome to use. We also offer wireless broadband access for an additional £5 per week (or part thereof).
The dining room has a quiet reading corner, with a rocking chair and a reading lamp, as well as the dining table.
The kitchen is equipped with all the work surfaces you can need, an electric cooker and hob, a microwave, and a fridge with a highly efficient freezer section.
It is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, and utensils such as toaster and kettle. There is a laundrette in town which provides excellent clothes-washing facilities. The first floor houses a twin-bed bedroom, a single bedroom (with space for a "put-you-up" bed which is provided at need) and a bathroom/toilet. There is a dormer bedroom in the converted loft which has windows on either side of the roof and which give superb views above the town in front of the house and towards Cader Idris behind the house.
We have created a "sun trap" benched area with potted plants and a flower bed on the strip of land we own in front of the house. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (preferably accompanied by careful owners!). Our house is only available to let to non-smokers.
